youve gotta spend some time with me...

so many new things to love and rave about... im crazy about the new death cab for cutie album... coconut records... that hot chip song, "ready for the floor"... the new flight of the conchords music video... ahhh, good times, good times.

so, with all the things i want to do with my life, i think that the one thing that keeps coming back and nagging me is my magazine. i mean, ive been wanting to publish something like that since i was a little kid (thanks ms. carr and 5th grade newsletter). so many ideas have been running through my head for it and i get excited thinking about the possibilites. im open for ideas for format, subjects etc. leave me messages.

also, ive FINISHED the dr. who scarf... four months to make it... jeez louise! pics up soon, as well as a flickr update.

one down, one to go...

at least for now. i finally finished caleb's big bad baby blanket. it was a fairly simple knit and it looks so cool. im super proud of it. the blanket itself looks kind of small in the picture, but its actually 25 inches wide and 32.5 inches long. its knit in paton's grace yarn. i used two different colors knit together which gave the blanket a hand-dyed yarn look.
i can't believe that it took me so long to finish it. now i have to send it to nicole so caleb can actually use it. :D
it's quite exciting to finally finish something that is NOT a scarf, which is my other WIP i have going right now. lol. if you want to see more pictures of caleb's blankie, go ahead and click on the picture.


so, my other project, the one left to go, is a season 12, dr. who scarf.
im about 30-40% done with that one. and it looks like this--->
dont let its foldiness fool you... its actually pretty big already. 13.5 inches wide and 42 inches long, to be exact. i think it'll be amazing once its all done.


well, thats all i got right now. i should be starting a new hat soon too. thats exciting. :D

a sigh of relief...

caleb's blankie is FINALLY done! i'll be posting pictures of it later. im so proud of it. it's my first project that ISNT a scarf. lol. anywho, im also working on a dr. who scarf for a friend of mine, so ill be posting pictures of that later as well... be on the lookout. :)

caleb's blankie

i really really really want to finish this blanket by sunday. this is one of the reasons why working two jobs sucks. i only knit for about 45 minutes after i get home. if i wasn't working two jobs, i could knit for at least a few hours after i got home. bleh. hopefully, its not too busy at CMM tonight and i can get out early. last night was so busy, i didnt get out until almost 11pm.
in other news, ravelry is pretty cool. i found bree from ats. it reminds me how long its been since ive been to an ats meet up. other than that, im really digging ravelry. if you've joined you can find me as arghylette. more posts on the blankie and other projects soon!
